On Sunday, I made a couple cards, one is already in the envelope, but I also made one I want to share, and also used a product I have had since March, Stickles, and I love them. They dry to the adorable glittery finish, I love how they turned out. On the card I used the cuttlebug swirl embossing folder and colored pencils to color the bird. The bird is a stamp by Rhonna Farrer (love her stuff). I used to be so good at sending cards, and I have fallen very short here recently, but I want to do better, so I am going to make some more cards, so I have cards ready to go.Hope you have a great day!! I think I may paint the hall closet today. I'm on a freshening up my home mission!!! LOL
In other news, I have been trying to make our home more comfy, and less stuffy, not that it's too stuffy, but I love the cottage look, but I always end up buying stuff that is more formal.
So in effort to change this I bought some fabric and pillow forms and made some new pillows for the living room couch, recovered a little wooden back chair, and foot stool, bought a new round decor table, and table cloth, and loved the way it has turned out. I think it's more inviting. I love how the mismatched florals
all blend together.
edited to add this cute little thing Ryan said yesterday.
Ryan was told to put the lid on the sandbox, because he was throwing sand at his sister, but he said, "I can't mama, I don't have any muscles" LOL what a lame excuse. but we just cracked up. Rebecca ended up putting the lid on, but when he said that Rebecca said, "he does so, he just doesn't want to do it." very perceptive my little girl is.
