Easy Taco Mac

So fast and simple and delish!!

I keep hamburger cooked up in my freezer(acutally it's ground chuck) because I don't want to wait for it to cook.

You'll need one large skillet!! that's right just one.

Place your cooked hamburger in the skillet (or fry it in the skillet first and drain) I used about 1.5 pounds for our family of 4.

Add 1/4-1/2 onion (diced)to hamburger as you fry it, or reheat it. (I tossed it in for a couple minutes.

Add 1 1/2 cups of beef broth (boullion or beef base mixed with water works too)

1 can tomato sauce (altho tomato soup would work)

1 package of taco seasoning (or make your own--see recipe at bottom)

1/2 lb. of macaroni elbows (uncooked)

mix in skillet, bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer stirring occasionally til macaroni is done. (took like 10 minutes)

Serve with shredded cheese on top, with chips and salsa on the side.

If you wanted to you could add crushed tomatoes, and frozen corn, black beans or doctor it up however you like.

Quick taco seasoning

1 T. chili powder
1 T. cumin
2 t. garlic powder (I substitute 1 t. onion pdr d/t a garlic allergy at our house)
1 t. salt

Hope you find this helpful and easy

Have a blessed day!
