Busy Season

Can you believe there are only 23 days til Christmas. WOW, where has 2010 gone?

I am in full birthday planning mode. Ryan will be 6. He has chosen to have another Mario party! I have printed invitations, thank you notes, and printing envelopes right now. By printing envelopes I mean I am printing an image on the paper and will be making envies in a bit. I have made one coloring book, 3 to go, but I need a new black ink cartridge for the printer, and don't you love it when you see a typo after you have printed out the invites...sheesh! That is what happens when you don't thoroughly read what you have written, but skim it reading what you think should be there.

I need to be working on teacher gifts, just 3 weeks for that, and I have only given it minimal thought, and Christmas shopping...well I have done a little thinking on it. I oddly enough, don't feel all that overwhelmed with all that needs to be done. I don't know why, but I like it! ha!

We finally got the Christmas trees up last night. We need toppers for both of them. The kids decorated the basement tree all on their own. They did a good job and had a lot of fun!

I need to finish making our Christmas cards, they are a quick project. I really just want to enjoy this season. Keep Christ in the center of the holiday hustle and bustle, and focus on family and less on all the other stuff.

Ryan lost a second tooth on Thanksgiving. I can't believe he is losing teeth, it seems like just yesterday he was my 11 lb newborn.
