Good Fortune

So, last night we ordered out Chinese food because my kitchen was in a bit of disarray as my husband was fixing the kitchen sink (we had a severe leak requiring full overhaul of the under sink area).

We all enjoy the food, I had vegetable fried rice and a spring roll. Jon and Ryan both had General Tso's Chicken which came with an egg roll. Rebecca had Chicken Fried Rice.
 My son's favorite part of the meal is the fortune cookie.

So his fortune reads. Today is a good day to try new things.  He thought about it for a minute and then said, "Mama my fortune was right. It is a good day to try new things. I tried an egg roll and learned I didn't like it." Then he finished his dinner.
