So after all that happened in the last few days I decided it was time to menu plan again, and reign in the grocery budget. As menu planning does really help that!! (oh and there will be a post tomorrow on the "all the happened" I afore mentioned)
Monday--Baked Fish, Baked potatoes, Maple Acorn squash, and Broccoli
Tuesday--Chicken, dirty rice, Green beans
Wednesday--BBQ squirrel, loaded potato slices, peas and carrots
Thursday--Chicken Chow mein
Friday--FOOTBALL GAME, chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, green beans, lemonade and cookies for the band kids.
So that is the plan. I have also made a list of ideas for the up coming weeks. And if you think Menu Planning is hard, I have a little tip for you.
Every day after dinner write on the Calendar what you had for supper. At the end of the week, month etc you have a menu plan, based on things you have already made. You will also see trends, and you can make notes if you make a new recipe on what you liked, or didn't like about it.
