My little girl will be 7 on Friday. I cannot believe she will be 7. I am trying to figure out where the last 7 years have gone.

It was just yesterday that she was born, so small and a few weeks early for the benefit of my health. It was just yesterday that she was so sick and looked like a little pumpkin with her bili count so high and we spent 4 long days in the hospital. So many things could have happened. God protected her and gave us a beautiful little girl that is healthy and smart and sweet...most of the time. And wasn't it just yesterday I held her up over the edge of a card table so Aunt Tonya could take a picture of her with a big bow on her adorable little head. and it was just yesterday she learned to walk, and just yesterday she became a big sister, and yesterday she she started preschool...how did we get to almost the end of a 1st grade year in school. My little girl will be 7!
So today I have tried to slow down, but it is hard knowing family will be here for a party so there is cleaning to do, and things to be put away, and then the everyday stuff like, dishes and laundry. I sit here listening to my girl play in the family room, she has an amazing imagination, pretending and creating. It is a wonderful sound.
So someone one was right, take time to stop and smell the roses, for the scent can be enjoyed much more by taking a moment than if you fly by it thinking, I wonder if it smells as pretty as it looked.
Have a blessed evening.
Oh and on a completely different note. My dear almost 7 Rebecca wanted to know what that smell was upstairs that smelled like someone puked! LOL! That would the vinegar I poured through the coffee pot! When I told her it was vinegar, she said, "oh I knew I knew that smell!" ha!
Oh and also, best microwave cleaner ever....put a cup of vinegar in a microwave-able dish (I used my 4 cup pyrex glass measuring cup)and turn it on for 5 minutes. Let it stand for at least 5 minutes and then embrace the smell and wipe clean with a wet rag. It has never been so easy to clean!

Thanks for stopping by my blog - great tips!
Time does fly, doesn't it? My oldest is almost 5 and I look at her and still see that itty bitty baby.
