Korker Bows

These are super easy, and fun to make. And what little girl doesn't love ribbons and bows!

 You will need:

3/16 " dowel rods

cute 1/4-3/8 " ribbon

wooden clothes pins, or metal binder clips

and something to attach them too, elastics, or barrettes, super glue, scissors, cookie sheet, oven =)

Take the ribbon and start at one end of the dowel rod and attach it with a clothes pin
The begin wrapping it around, at a slight angle.
wrap it all the way to the end of the dowel, cut and secure with another clothespin, and don't pitch the shorter pieces, wrap those up too.

Bake on a cookie sheet at 250 degrees for 20 minutes.

I filled all the dowels I had, then piled them on the cookie sheet, it doesn't have to be nice and neat.
After the 20 minutes, remove from oven and let cool completely. Removed from dowel rods, and clip any crazy ends.

Cut to desired length, 4 inches is a nice length, again, just eyeball it. I found the red ones were a bit long, but still cute.
You can take embroidery floss and tie them together. I chose to sew them, and glued the knot with super glue.

Attach them to your hair item of choice and make some little girl really happy!

Then make them in every color of ribbon you have!

 Supplies again:
3/16  " dowels
ribbon
clothes pin or binder clips (not plastic)
cookie sheet
scissors
superglue
hair elastics, or barrettes
Oven.
Have fun and a blessed day!
