Owl Cookies

So I am trying out recipes for cookies for Rebecca's party, since she didn't want cake.

First recipe is as follows
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour

preheat oven to 400. cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla. Sift together baking powder and flour and add small amount at a time. Can add up to 2 tbsp of water if dough is dry.  Roll and cut out cookies.
Bake 6-7 minutes

Dough is very dry, and cracked a lot. water didn't really help that much, but it did help, particularly as I needed the dough for the 3rd time. Flavor is just okay they are really good once they have sat for a little while. I don't know what the difference is, but I will certainly be using this recipe. Of course buttercream icing is going to make everything bettter ha!

I have baked up almost all of this dough, and then I'll move on to recipe number 2
no need to make another recipe
oh, and don't mind the crazy side of hair. I am fresh from a pilates session...

Have a blessed day!
